KSA, PASUMAWONDER, MAINTAIN RELOADED

And so i boarded a public transport from Oshodi, Lagos this morning. I had travelled to lagos so as to see a friend off who is flying out of the country on holiday. five minutes after cursing under my breath for a blaring radio few metres away, i saw something interesting that flashed past me– King sunny Ade’s “Grace of God” is being hawked by some guy who sells CD’s and DVD’s. Whatttttttttt…….i said to myself……Even king sunny Ade has’nt release the CD for commercialisation. Its due as from the end of the December.

Here i am seeing pirated copies of the CD’s being sold as if it was purewater. In as much as i dislike buying pirated CD’s, I was bent on buying this as i have to be the first music blog to talk about it. After so much bargaining, i bought a copy of KSA’s CD for #120. I bought Maintain Reloaded video collections as well as K1 the ultimate 40th Birthday bash that featured the celebrity takes two entrant “PASUMA WONDER” as well as KORA awarded fuji musician “Adewale Ayuba”.

I got home to have a sneak preview into Maintains reloaded video collections and i must confess that the first two tracks “Story of my life” and “Halleluyah” directed by Adex of ArtQUake are far more superior in production than the doodled “Yahooze” that annoys the living out of me. I just can’t blog much on it for now as NEPA…….sorry PHCN just took light( one of the inefficiency’s that’s really doing my heading.

Newayz, i promise to give you the full gist of it all as soon as NEPA brings back electricity.

N.B: THis post in unedited, due to shortage in laptop battery power. Forgive my typos and grammar errors….

SOULE is Back

I got a call from a friend last night about a Breaking news he heard on AIT regarding the winning of the law suit between SoulE and Colossal Entertainment. While i cannot at this time confirm this report at the moment, i can’t wait to be sure that he won the suite, as i am earnestly waiting for a release of his new album. I know quite couple of people are against soulE’s default from his record label, i would say that it is one of those things that happens in the Music Industry which needs to be adressed. I am equally thinking that SoulE was being turbocharged by his newly found love( this is only a matter of opinion) that he sees Colossal Entertainment as opportunist who are only taking advantage of him.

I will categorically say that Colossal Records made SoulE. The brand that was created was that of Colossal. It is also worthy to note as well that SoulE’s unique voice and rendition contributed as well, which could create a 50/50 situation. However, contracts are suppose to be honoured, irrespective of the terms and conditions except there is a slip way out.
However, if all have being hearing is the truth, then i must say congrats to SoulE as he can now release his long sustained Album.

“Tatoo Lyrics” - Faze

Where them dey

Something about you
Where are my tattoo girls
I gbadu your tattoo
Where them dey

Verse
Baby girl, there’s something about you
You first come and I gbadu your tattoo
You smell well where you get this perfume
Can I get to know you
Your belly ring, girl, I am liking that one too
And the way you swing it, come let me hold you
All the things I like about you
Most especially your tattoo, girl

Chorus
Girl, la la la la la (Where them dey)
I like your tattoo, girl, oh girl, oh girl, oh girl

Verse
Baby girl, you can call me daddy
Say you no mind if I call am mummy
The way you swing, you fit kpai somebody
Girl, your body is calling me
Excuse me if I sound so nasty
Make I touch the belly ring on your flat tummy
Draw nearer, baby girl, I wanna see your tattoo
The way you shake that thing on me makes me wanna go crazy
Girl, while you shake it, take it slow
I wanna see your tattoo clearly
Jay na cross, abi na heart, with an arrow piercing from the heart
Abi na rose or butterfly
All I wanna see is my tattoo girl, girl

Repeat Chorus

Verse
Show me the place where you place that tattoo
Ego sexy if e dey your chest and your back too
How many you get, she one or na two
Can I see your tattoo
Girl, I like it, when you flaunt it, flaunt it
Can I touch it, while you flaunt it, flaunt it
So sexy, makes me want it, want it
Touch it, bring it, bust a style
The way you shake that thing on me makes me wanna go crazy
Girl, while you shake it, take it slow
I wanna see your tattoo clearly

Ruggedmanonline

I recently checked Ruggedmans Website only to have it under construction. I am having a feeling that it is being revamped for the coming new year. As a new brand is uploaded, i sure will let you guys in on that.

I personally as well need a new brand theme for NaijaBrains in the coming year. I am a bit sick and tired of these current theme as it seems to be too boring. Therefore, i am looking for someone who is willing to create a new wordpress theme for this music site. The theme has to be producly Nigerian and Unique. Please all enquiries regarding this should be forwarded to gbengaijotan@yahoo.co.uk

My head has been banging for the past two hours. I guess this is as a result of the Generating plant in my backyard. I have also been online here, doing nothing of importance. I am just going to get off my system in a minute and listen to some god old Nigerian Tracks. I’ve got a CD packed with oldies rainging from remedies to plantashun boiz as well as trybesmen. Till i get my groove back, enjoy the tracks below.

Nigezie: Extremely Nigerian & SoundCity: Powered by Music

Two major entertainment companies that have been holding Naija Sway are Nigezie and SoundCity. While the former is powered by a guy called Kwame, the latter is an handiwork of the indomitable Tajudeen Adepetu. Taju is well known for his series of soap operas and TV programmes ranging from “Everyday People” to “One love” which runs on AIT. Both outfit are seemingly runs the Nigerian music world with so much euphoria that our musical dispensation cannot hold without a feel of them both. Watch out for more review on both of them before the end of the week.

While you await review on both entertainment outfit, i’d be delighted to let you in on this Fashon show festival which was uploaded by Toni. You sure will enjoy every bit of it

Another music i love so much is 9ice’s track titled “Little Money”. With tight lyrics, fused beats and a compelling video, you sure will be held spell bound.

Talk about a video concept that is similar to that of sean pauls track titled “I’m still in love with you” featuring sasha, and you will be right with your assumptions. With a yellow background, and a a showcase of the popular Nigerian Batik top, Nomoreloss simply dishes another track out. Enjoy it while it last.
